Reese Cleaning Service got a call from Aramark at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 13. The Aramark representative said Reese was the only cleaning company in Philadelphia that answered the phone. The food, facilities and uniform services company needed a university’s enormous kitchen cleaned on Sunday, to be spotless for a Monday morning inspection.
We accepted the challenge, and on Sunday, May 14, a Reese Cleaning team was hard at work scrubbing the kitchen’s floors, walk-in boxes, freezers, ovens, overhead vents — essentially every surface needed to be scoured, because in a kitchen, there’s a lot of grease and grime. While it was a complicated job, our team finished on time just as promised. And because we’re a certified “green” cleaning company, the job was completed without the use of toxic chemicals – something you definitely don’t want in an area where food is being prepared!
On Monday morning, the kitchen passed the inspection with flying colors and was ready for business. And the Aramark representative was so happy, he’s promised to be in touch with more projects.
